Hillary Mishandles Classified Info? Trump's Fault

NOTE: If you're so inclined, feel free to hit the Donation Button at the bottom!

Intelligence agencies have identified individuals with connections to the Russian government who provided WikiLeaks with thousands of hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and others, including Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, according to U.S. officials. Those officials described the individuals as actors known to the intelligence community and part of a wider Russian operation to boost Trump and hurt Clinton's chances.
"It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia's goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected," said a senior U.S. official briefed on an intelligence presentation made to U.S. senators.
"That's the consensus view."
The hacked emails referenced are those which were sent through the private server which Hillary Clinton had installed in her Chappaqua, NY home when she was Secretary of State. That server was left unsecured so that anyone could access all information coming through it, including dozens, hundreds, thousands of emails containing classified information which agents foreign and domestic could get ahold of—including agents of Russian origin.

And those agents could and probably did what they wanted with the information in those emails.

That was what the uproar was about in the first place. Oh, yes and the fact that Clinton destroyed or wiped the devices with the email files.

FBI director James Comey even said that she was guilty of mishandling classified information and of destroying the evidence.

That foreign agents could take the info and do whatever they wanted with it is the whole reason that mishandling classified info is a crime and is punished so seriously—if the mishandler is not Hillary Clinton.

And it’s the reason that most of us who are or have been professional handlers of classified material were outraged at the FBI’s inaction with respect to Clinton.

So now, the CIA confirms what was suspected: the Russians took the information from Clinton’s intentionally unsecured server and did whatever they wanted with it. Did they cause Clinton to lose? Maybe. Maybe not.

I have one question: how is this Donald Trump’s fault? That's the way it's being spun. I suppose that the spin is yet another attempt at keeping the inauguration from happening.

And the attempts will continue until that day.

AFTERTHOUGHT: I'm old enough to remember when the Obama campaign website's webmasters disabled the country of origin code for credit card donations for two election cycles, in contravention of federal law, but I don't remember a big MSM uproar about that. (Thanks to Kim Crawford)

"I'm So Afraid of Violent Trump That I'm Going to Break Things, Burn Things, and Beat People"

Donald Trump will be the president of the United States in January. It's still weird to say. Liberals and Leftists are not taking it well, though.

Leftists sat back and laughed while President Obama overstepped his presidential boundaries over and over again. The Democrat Congress approved of it each time, of course, and, later, the Republican Congress was too afraid of being called racist to do its job and keep executive power in check.

Now the Left thinks it's payback time for the Right—or, rather, the Left is trying to ensure that payback time does not happen.

Rest assured, President Trump will be well reined-in by the legislative branch, even though he has a Republican Congress and here's why: Trump has the same Congress that was afraid of being called 'racist' by the Left for opposing President Obama. Governmental Republicans are afraid of the Left, period, and the Organized Left knows this.

So it is that the Organized Left planned these anti-Trump riots just like it has been doing with almost every other riot in the last half century. The purpose: to keep the fear stoked, among regular people and among the hired help--the politicians.

And, as easy as is for the Organized Left to plan riots, it's piece of cake easy for them to pay a few of its operatives to float the assassination attempts on Twitter—especially since Twitter has not been shy about making its biases known. Twitter allows the operative-created assassination attempts, which emboldens the non-operatives and there you have it.

A free-float storm of a Leftist-created temper tantrum.

Republicans in government see this and wonder “what can we do to show them that we aren’t going to hurt them?” That's the pattern since 2000.

Will Republicans break this pattern?

BTW, the day after Election Day, I had a leftist acquaintance haranguing me about the alleged violence on the right. She doesn't have a thing to say to me today.

Portland liberals.

Donald Trump and Our Current Level of Deception

The Enemy is a Great Deceiver. And, by Enemy, I don't mean Trump, Cruz, Clinton, Sanders or any other human being. And He will use pride of anything to deceive: pride of race, color, intellect, politics...even pride of being Christian.

I’ve come to the conclusion that many people want to be deceived.

You see deception among all, in many reactions to difference of opinion. Here's what's underneath: pride of self and of our allegedly infallible powers of discernment.

King Solomon was the most discerning man who ever lived, but he screwed up in the end--literally--by having a gazillion wives and concubines. (Side note: a man once reminded me that Solomon said that he had never found a woman with a heart close to God. I retorted that it appears that Solomon used the wrong part of his being to search for spiritual discernment among women. I may have been a bit cruder.)

Solomon's thinking became skewed by his physical urges. Much thinking in this country, however, is skewed by an on-going assault on objective truth simmered in two dangerous emotions: anger and pride.

People are saying that conservatism has no meaning any more. Of course this is wrong. It is an objective set of principles. But, in the last 50 years, nearly all of us have been indoctrinated to think about definitions and concepts relatively--to think in a postmodern fashion. Here is what postmodern thinking has wrought: that a man who has continually spouted progressive and tyrannical ideas is a conservative simply because he calls himself one.

Over and over again, Donald Trump puts forth ideas that are not conservative. Were he to become president, he would try to implement many of these non-conservative ideas, and after eight years of non-conservative ideas being implemented by President Obama, this country will finally implode. For the record, I think it will anyway. But thinking about this from a political partisan point of view, were the country to implode while a person who is Republican sits in the White House, Republicans will take the blame for that implosion. Few observers will look at the pattern of ideas and policies which cause such an implosion. They will only look at who is in power at the time of it.

This is the reason that I have said that Trump has been planted within the Republican Party. Win or lose, his candidacy is meant to deliver a death blow to the party.

But postmodern indoctrination, along with anger and pride, has blinded many to this plan. Trump, like Barack Obama, is merely a symptom of this blindness.

When a person is aware that postmodernism has had an effect on her thinking, it’s easy to discard that mindset. Postmodernism is described in the Bible: calling truth a lie and a lie, the truth.

Pride and anger, however, are formidable obstacles to discarding postmodernism. All too many people view their opinions as sacrosanct and are resistant to having their minds changed, even in the face of reality. A friend of mine says that he has had reality smash his pre-conceived notions about the world so often that he refers to his contemporaneous way of thinking about the world as his “current level of deception.” I think my friend is one of the blessed ones.

Others are not so blessed. I read as many Trump supporters talk about ‘winning.’ Winning what? The election? Okay. Then what? Run around saying “I won” like the current president? What happens when President Trump orders the military to kill the families of our enemies—or the families of domestic enemies? What happens if he decides that you are his enemy?

People really hate it when they think that others view them as stupid—especially when they really are stupid. But here’s the thing: we are all stupid about many topics. The trick is to be secure about what you do know, but be open to having your mind changed by reality.

To do that you have to be okay with being "stupid"...with being humble.

Humbling oneself is a daily task. No matter how many intellectual gifts God has provided us with, we are still capable of being deceived if we fail to ask for His correction and guidance and to do so in Jesus' name. Every. Single. Day. Sometimes, every minute.

God is omniscient. We are not.

Of course there are those who are comfortable in deception. I pray that their awakening will not be as rude as mine.
