This morning's fun:

Former Vice President Joe Biden told a popular black radio personality Thursday that he “ain’t black” if he was still weighing whether to support President Donald Trump in November’s general election — provoking outrage from the White House’s Republican allies and inducing queasiness among even some Democratic operatives.

The eyebrow-raising remarks from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee came during an at-times contentious interview on “The Breakfast Club” that aired Friday morning, during which co-host Charlamagne tha God challenged Biden over his decadeslong record on racial issues and current contemplation of a black, female running mate.

“Listen, you’ve got to come see us when you come to New York, VP Biden,” Charlamagne said. “It’s a long way until November. We’ve got more questions.”

“You’ve got more questions?” Biden replied. “Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

I ain't (heh) even mad that he said it.

The Democrats will spin this in one of four ways (at least). None of them will be good for them.

1. Biden is senile.
2. Biden is telling the truth.
3. Biden was talking about being “politically black.” 
   
4. Biden was merely making his host feel good – also known as pandering.

Here are the answers to those spins.

1. It is probably true that Biden has dementia, but other that a trained medical professional, who could tell? Biden has been lying about himself and others and making racist assertions for nearly his entire public life. From a lay point of view, the only thing that’s different now than, say, in 2008, is that his ability to enunciate seems significantly impaired. If they admit this, they admit that he's a placeholder.

2. Oh, good luck with this one, Democrats! We on the right who happen to be black are used to this nonsense and to the obliviousness of those who assert it.

Simply, those who assign a particular way of thinking to a race are in agreement with white supremacists. They are merely less honest with themselves and less brave than self-labelled white supremacists.

3. Hahahaha! Biden’s only knowledge about this comes from politically Democrat blacks like his former boss, as if he would know. And, as I said to the lovely Miss alexthechick, the notion that Biden has ever been able to comprehend a nuanced term like “politically black” much less use it properly is coffee-spewingly funny.

4. A given.

Interesting that this is the most forceful thing that 2020 Democratic Party presumptive presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden has publicly said in weeks, months or, possibly years other than threatening to punch a voter's lights out or calling another voter an "lying, dog-faced pony soldier."

He didn’t sound confused nor did he forget words or trip over them. He really believes this and will not see anything wrong with it.

And he will threaten to knock you on your ass if you tell him that he’s wrong and racist … unless your name is Stacey Abrams. But Miss Abrams will probably assert Democrat Spin #2 as listed above.

Assuming that Biden is picked as the Democratic Party nominee for president, do you think there will be at least one debate?

I do hope so. Something so rabidly entertaining has to come out of so dismal a year. I predict that it will mark a turning point.

“Hey Slow Joe! Do you think my friend over there, Dr. Ben Carson, is black? After all, he voted for me in 2016 and will vote for me again. What say you, Joe?”

Trump, Hydroxychloroquine, and Hope (UPDATE)

For the past two days, people have been absolutely losing their minds since President Trump revealed that, as prescribed by his personal physician, he began taking a combination of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and zinc ten days prior to the announcement, in order to protect him against the Wuhan virus.

Many believe that he’s lying about it. Others speculate that he has some financial stake in a drug that has been officially sanctioned by the FDA for several conditions – including other coronaviruses -- since the 1950s and costs about 5 cents per pill.

Still others ignore the many trials, studies, and the divergent results and conclusions which have been conducted using HCQ alone, HCQ plus zinc, and HCQ + zinc + the antibiotic azithromycin.

And, emblematic of the insanity, we have Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi opining that the president should not be taking HCQ because he is “morbidly obese.” That and the silly paper tearing stunt at the end of this year’s State of the Union address makes me think that there’s some non-political history between Mr. Trump and Mrs. Pelosi – one which left Pelosi with a severely bruised ego.

But, leaving my catty musings aside, I must explicitly point this out: from the time that the president first mentioned HCQ until this very moment, there seem to be a widespread concerted effort to discredit the drug. Fox News commentator Neil Cavuto even said that anyone taking the drug would die! That’s news to millions, possibly billions, of people who have taken the drug to ease the symptoms of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and for malaria, both as treatment and for prophylactic purposes.

As I have observed continuously during this pestilence, certain corners of our republic – usually governmental and media-related -- don't want the people to have hope and will say and do anything squash and quash even the whispers of it.

And if that hope comes from Orange Man Bad, those corners will lie repeatedly, even when the truth is right in front of all our faces.

Considering all this, I was given permission to post the following from my good friend Dave P. Disclaimer: I am not a doctor either.

Since it appears that almost every journalist got his MD over the weekend, I might as well chime in. I am not a doctor and I don’t even play one on the Internet, but I can read and remember things and I know this —

The primary antiviral agent in the concoction that Trump is taking is actually zinc. A virus is not a complete, living cell like a bacterium, but rather it is a capsule with a short string of [RNA] in it. It cannot replicate itself, as a cell does when it divides. So, what it does is, it attaches to human cells and paste its RNA into theirs... so that when [the cells] replicate, they replicate the virus instead of themselves. That’s how a virus replicates, by hijacking the replication mechanism of a human cell.

Zinc is an interrupter of the virus attempting to attach itself to the replication engine of a cell. That is why we have cold medicines that are zinc-based, like Zicam, because the cold is a virus, and the zinc helps slow the replication of the virus so that your symptoms are lesser and shorter.

With all that, it is still true that zinc has a very hard time penetrating the cell walls in order to interrupt viral replication. Hydroxychloroquine opens up channels in the cell walls that allow the zinc to enter the cell and do its thing.

The third part of Trump’s cocktail is an antibacterial, azithromycin, to knock out opportunistic bacterial lung infections that may take hold while the lung is inflamed and vulnerable.

HCQ makes it easier for zinc to get into cells and block viral replication. Another way to make it easier is to add zinc [to your diet]. You need a prescription for HCQ, but zinc is over-the-counter, as a cold medicine and a supplement. Up to a certain amount, the more zinc that is in your system, the more successful it will be at penetrating the cell walls and blocking viruses. Again, that is why zinc is used as cold medicine, because it stops viruses from hijacking the cellular reproduction mechanism to reproduce themselves.

There is no reason for us not to take HCQ. Anyone who says it’s risky or unproven or should be tested is someone with an anti-Trump agenda, or a pro Bill Gates agenda, which are, more or less, the same thing. But boosting your zinc level is a way to help the HCQ work better and boosting your zinc level is a good idea even if you’re not taking the prescription.

The fact that we have zinc-based cold medicines is all I need to hear to know that increasing your zinc level is good for anti-viral action. The medicine says it reduces the length and severity of a cold. It also says that the sooner you start taking zinc, the better off you will be in those terms.

Lots of people are on television talking about this and demonstrating they know nothing about it with every word they say. The key is the zinc.

But don’t take Doctor Dave's or Doctor Baldilocks' word for it. Go out and read things. Here. I’ll help you get started.

This will be a four-part series consisting of fifty items each and I may write an epilogue.

We hear and read accusations of tyranny against President Trump and the reasonable among us – from entire political spectrum -- will ask for examples. These examples will often fall short of the tyranny mark and there are two reason for this:

1) the hollowing out of meaning and definitions, which leads to
2) the inability of many to recognize objective tyranny when it stared us in the face for eight years.

There are many other reasons, but these are the main headings. There are also spiritual reasons.

I am not the author or researcher of these examples.

The author doesn’t want to take credit and told me to say that a “little bird” dropped it in my email box – more like a large and lethal bird of prey. And this 200-item list isn't a complete one; the author just got tired.

For the initial publishing of these, there will be no links. However, I will add links to some of the items later, especially when requested.

Also, your fingers aren't broken -- at least not yet.

1. The Obama Department of Labor abolished its rules requiring transparency in regard to spending by unions after it became apparent that the rules were too effective in exposing fraud.

2. In the government bailout of the auto industry, Obama illegally put union members ahead of secured creditors with absolute priority; doing so violated bankruptcy law and the Constitution’s Takings and Due Process Clauses.

In firing Inspector General (IG) of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) Gerald Walpin after Walpin found misuse of federal grants by Kevin Johnson and the St. HOPE Academy, Obama broke a law that he as a senator sponsored; the law requires that the president inform Congress of specific reasons why an IG is removed.

4. The Obama Car Czars illegally shut down 2200 car dealerships as part of the government restructuring of Chrysler and GM; as a result, over 120,000 Americans lost their jobs.

5. Obama tried to unilaterally repeal the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), the law that ensures a minimum standard for voluntary employee retirement and health plans.

6. Obama Acting Assistant Attorney General Loretta King wrote to Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson, informing him that Oklahoma’s proposed state constitutional amendment making English Oklahoma’s official language violated the civil rights of limited English proficient (LEP) persons; King illegally threatened to cut off federal funds to Oklahoma if the wording of the amendment were not changed.

7. Obama administration officials illegally met with lobbyists at coffee houses near the White House in order to avoid the disclosure requirements for White House visitors.

8. The Obama Department of Justice stopped a probe into political ally Bill Richardson, who was being investigated by a federal grand jury for pay-to-play allegations; “It was killed in Washington,” an anonymous source told the Associated Press.

9. Obama unconstitutionally appointed three members to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), bypassing the Senate.

10. Obama used an unconstitutional recess appointment to make Richard Cordray director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) while the Senate was still in session.

11. Obama illegally ordered the EPA to impose the Clean Power Plan after the Senate rejected it; the plan required states to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions, even though neither Obama nor the EPA had the authority to make such sweeping changes.

12. Obama crafted an illegal clandestine deal with the pharmaceutical industry in order to get ObamaCare passed.

13. The Obama IRS illegally provided tax credits and subsidies through federal health exchanges set up by the Department of Health and Human Services; because the law made no provision for IRS involvement, the IRS illegally granted itself the authority to spend $800 billion over 10 years on benefits not authorized by Congress.

14. The Obama IRS illegally granted retroactive tax-exempt status to the Barack H. Obama Foundation, an ostensible charity run by Obama’s half-brother Malik; IRS Director of the Exempt Organizations Unit Lois Lerner signed the paperwork in one month, which legalized the foundation’s previous three years of illegal fundraising.

15. The Obama Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) allowed straw buyers to illegally import rifles into Mexico in Operation Fast and Furious; several hundred murders—including those of two Americans—resulted.

16. Obama illegally offered positions in the Executive Branch to Democratic senatorial candidate Joe Sestak to keep him from running against Arlen Specter.

17. The Obama administration thwarted Inspector General (IG) investigations into Amtrak, the EPA, the Troubled Asset Relief Program, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB); Obama Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch ignored the findings of dozens of IGs.

18. Obama Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius threatened to put out of business insurance companies that informed their clients of the impact of ObamaCare.

19. The Obama National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) imposed illegal and unconstitutional new rules requiring nonunion businesses to encourage their workers to unionize.

20. The Obama Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) illegally granted exemptions from new emissions laws to companies owned by Obama donors.

21. The Obama Department of Justice illegally stopped enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act.

22. ObamaCare illegally forced taxpayer-funded abortion on the entire country and mandated that health insurance cover abortifacient drugs.

23. The Obama administration worked with investor Steve Eisman to write new for-profit college regulations that allowed Eisman to make a massive windfall in short-selling.

24. The Obama Department of the Interior routinely ignored court orders and was found in contempt multiple times.

25. The Obama Treasury Department saved the pensions of unionized GM workers while allowing non-unionized workers’ pensions to default; the same was done in regard to the pension plans of parts manufacturer Delphi.

26. The Obama White House hid a program that paid union workers taxpayer money to lobby the government for more unions.

27. The Obama Department of Homeland Security ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to enforce the DREAM Act even though the bill was defeated in Congress multiple times.

28. The Obama Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) illegally granted ObamaCare waivers to political allies; nearly 20 percent of the waivers went to Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco’s district, while Harry Reid’s state of Nevada got a blanket waiver.

29. The Obama National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) illegally imposed the Employee Free Choice Act—which allowed unions to enter negotiations in non-unionized companies—after Congress voted it down.

30. ObamaCare illegally immunized the Independent Payment Advisory Board from lawsuits resulting from the way its decisions impacted patients.

31. The Obama Department of Justice raided musical-instrument manufacturers that had donated to Republicans but avoided Democrat-run manufacturers that used the same exotic wood obtained in the same way.

32. The Obama administration subsidized “green” companies run by donors and campaign supporters; when the companies went bankrupt, their executives collected hundreds of millions of dollars in golden parachutes.

33. The Obama administration threatened private companies whose CEOs criticized Obama’s economic policies.

34. Obama bypassed Congress and illegally ordered new regulations on student loans, government contracts, pharmaceutical drugs, and mortgages.

35. The Obama Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) designed its illegal gun-walking Operation Fast and Furious to bolster a push for tighter gun control in the US [Ed. Note: item #15].

36. The Obama Department of Justice illegally sued Arizona and Alabama for enforcing federal immigration law.

37. The Obama Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ignored Congress and a court order to illegally impose new regulations on the Internet.

38. The U.S. Office of Special Counsel determined that Obama Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius violated the Hatch Act by campaigning for Obama while traveling on official business; federal employees are required to be terminated for this violation, but Obama ignored the law.

39. Obama illegally offered waivers to provisions of the national education law No Child Left Behind.

40. The Obama National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) illegally sued aircraft manufacturer Boeing for trying to open a plant in the right-to-work state of South Carolina.

41. ObamaCare broke existing federal law by conferring benefits on same-sex couples.

42. The Obama EPA illegally and unconstitutionally declared that its decisions would be based on "environmental justice,” which resulted in certain types of pollution being labeled racist.

43. The Obama Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement instructed companies to lie about job losses caused by new regulations on coal.

44. The Obama administration illegally gave filmmakers classified information on the bin Laden raid.

45. The Obama Treasury Department illegally created new rules that made it harder for companies to set up in countries with low tax rates.

46. After Congress banned funding of ACORN, Obama gave $445.6 million to the Illinois Housing Development Authority, run by Joe McGavin, who was at the time still Chicago Operations Manager of the renamed ACORN Housing.

47. In order to enact new climate-change rules, the EPA illegally declared that carbon dioxide is a pollutant.

48. Romney donor Frank L. VanderSloot was publicly named by the Obama campaign Website, and he was audited by the IRS and the Department of Labor for the only time in his life, costing him $80,000 in legal fees.

49. The Obama Consumer Product Safety Commission illegally banned a toy called Buckyballs in a “recall prior to injury,” requiring ZenMagnets to fight a six-year court battle to regain the right to manufacture its product again.

50. Obama political appointees at the Department of Justice vacated a case against the Black Panthers after the department had won.

Aftereffects of the Obama Presidency

Like a Very Long Hangover

Some people think that we should leave Former President Obama alone, since he’s not president anymore. Problem is he and his minions won’t leave us alone.

First, there he is in Brazil — the former POTUS — lying about American gun laws.

President Barack Obama said the United States’ gun laws “don’t make much sense” and claimed anybody “can buy machine guns” while speaking at VTEX Day 2019 in Brazil.

“Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon any time. Without much, if any, regulation, they can buy it over the Internet, they can buy machine guns,” Obama told the audience.

It’s hard, however, to get too worked up about BHO’s whoppers. After all, his lips are moving. And, in fairness George W. Bush set the precedent for former POTUSes lying about/criticizing his country on foreign soil.

But, then there’s this.

President Donald Trump said on Thursday [May 30, 2019] that John Kerry “should be prosecuted” for allegedly violating the Logan Act through his conversations with Iran, escalating a feud between his administration and the former [Obama-appointed] secretary of State.

“John Kerry violated the Logan Act,” Trump said during a White House press availability. “He’s talking to Iran and has has many meetings and many phone calls and he’s telling them what to do. That is total violation of the Logan Act.”

The response from Kerry's spokesperson amounted to “we will do what we want since we are the professionals and we know how to do this better than you do, Philistine.”

And it seem that other former Obama officials are intent on interfering in relations between the US and Iran.

This is what you get when you elect a person — BHO — who feels entitled to his elevation and, ironically, feels contempt for those he leads. You get all of his “elite” cohorts, flunkies, and puppeteers who can “see the bigger picture,” the picture that we rabble who would elect some real estate mogul-reality TV star to office cannot see.

And their bigger picture always involves more power for them and elites in other countries — Iran’s mullahs, for example — and less for you.

These “elites” won’t let go without some … incentive. They will have to become convinced that letting go is in their best interest.

And I am convinced that there is a lot of “best interest” located in the declassified files of the Russian Collusion Investigation.

We spent eight years being afraid of what Obama had in store for us next. I want to see what’s in store for him.

Alternative: they could all HAVE A SEAT.

No, I don’t think it will happen either.

Spinning a Web

The man trap

President Trump plans to hold a fundraiser here in LA during the Emmy Awards Week and actress Debra Messing wants to know who’s attending, so that the attendees can be blacklisted by the Hollywood branch of the Organized Left.

Actress Debra Messing and co-star Eric McCormack [both of Will & Grace] have lashed out – and received considerable backlash – for their reaction to news of the Sept. 17 fundraiser, which has a ticket price of $100,000 per couple.

“Please print a list of all attendees please. The public has a right to know,” Messing tweeted Friday.

McCormack backed her up: “Kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about who we don’t wanna work with. Thx.”

In addition, she invites Twitter users to text her.

Of course, she’ll get messages from all manner of psychos – on both sides of the aisle. And I don’t think she’s bright enough to have factored that in. As a matter of fact, I don’t think this was her idea at all.

The friends who suggested that she spin this web will find the locations of the dummies who text her and who do so without concealing their locations and/or using a burner phone. Said dummies will be doxxed and otherwise harassed.

Because that’s how these people operate.

Of course, I won't text her. Simply, I don't have time to organize a defense posse right now -- though the thought is appealing.

Of course, Messing and McCormack won't be physically harassing anyone themselves. Cowards like these leave physical danger up to others.

Ben Carson, Baltimore, and Representation

I’d briefly forgotten that Ben Carson, the Trump Administration’s HUD Secretary, was the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Johns Hopkins is located in Baltimore.

Carson gives the Trump-Cummings dust-up some perspective.

Amid the backdrop of the ongoing feud between President Trump and Rep. Elijah Cummings over the deplorable conditions in his Maryland district, Carson backed up the president’s criticisms of the “rat and rodent infested mess” in the city of Baltimore which has been under Democrat control for decades.

“As a pediatric neurosurgeon, I spent many hours, sometimes operating all night long, trying to give the children of Baltimore and other places around the world a second chance at life, and usually we were successful,” Carson said on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Monday.

“But a few days later, I was in a horrible dilemma, because some of those kids had to go back into homes in East Baltimore that were infested with rats, and roaches, and ticks, and mold, and lead, and violence. And I didn’t want to send them back. Sometimes I would even consider extra tests so they could stay in the hospital an extra day or two,” the longtime Baltimore resident admitted.

He noted that he was able to work with Cummings during his time at the hospital.

Side note: in re-familiarizing myself with Secretary Carson’s background, I discovered that he was held up at gunpoint in Baltimore not long after he completed his residency, which has to have been more than four decades ago. These days, I hear that Johns Hopkins employees are advised to not go walking outside the confines of the hospital grounds.

Daytime conditions are, no doubt, this dire somewhere here in my native Los Angeles but I haven’t seen it personally. And I’ve lived in South Central most of the time.

Switching gears, I’ve said before that most members of the legislative branch of our government – especially non-white Democrat members of the House – are picked by the money brokers of the parties before they even go on the ballot.

Essential requirements: not overly smart nor overly principled. My contention is that they are selected in high school, since college is probably too late to indoctrinate. And if they got into college on their own, they've already demonstrated one disqualification for the position: too many IQ points. Smart people are difficult to control.

The task of the chosen is to “represent” and by that, I’m not talking about representing the interests of their constituents.  The aim is to be seen and, thereby, get paid as much as can be gotten away with.

And here's why it has been possible.

Black and brown Americans have long highly rated seeing someone who looks like them in the halls of power and the House members and their backers know this. This is how these members stay in office for so long.

And since much of the legislative branch is corrupt, almost all the members get rich – often by voting government monies into their districts and siphoning from that pile. Meanwhile, their districts go to Hell.

Whose fault is this? The constituents. These voters care more about seeing themselves mirrored by the faces of their representatives that they care about the deterioration of their neighborhoods. And this phenomenon isn't just in Baltimore.

At some point, they (we) stopped paying attention to what, say, Elijah Cummings was doing or not doing to render actual representation in the halls of Congress. I wonder how many in his district knew that the area received $16 billion in federal funding last year. Of those who did know, I’m sure that someone asked where the money was going and was promptly ignored or told to shut up if they knew what was good for them.

That’s why it was necessary for the President of the United States to bring it up.

In fairness, the previous president spoke harshly about Baltimore, as well – to nearly no backlash from his fellow Democrats or from Big Media.

This one, however, is willing to take a lot of heat on this topic and willing to fire back -- with more deadly ammo. We’ve seen this before.

I’m willing to bet that this gravy train and many others will be stopped in their tracks.

That's reason for the screeching. More later on the content of the screeches.

The Road Away From Perdition

In February, I noted certain words which President Trump uttered during the State of the Union address.

There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our Nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world. And then, we had the case of the Governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth. 

To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.
Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: all children — born and unborn — are made in the holy image of God.

Like President Reagan before him -- "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" -- this president seems to have emboldened the forces of life and liberty through "mere" declaration. President Trump spoke defeat on the murder of children.

In the wake of the SOTU speech, several states have enacted "Heartbeat" legislation, which bans abortion if the unborn baby's heartbeat can be detected -- around six weeks after the end of a woman's last menstrual cycle. And, today, Alabama has banned abortion outright.

Crimson Tide, indeed.

As many have pointed out, the new anti-abortion laws will be challenged in the courts, which, of course, is the point. It will lead to a review of Roe v. Wade.

In response to this chain of events, pro-abortionists are apoplectic, so much so that this happened a few days ago.

The beauty of this: Ms. Milano is unintentionally advocating a principle which pro-lifers -- especially Christians -- have been promoting since forever as the alternative to promiscuity which is the primary behavior leading to abortion: abstinence. And all the self-proclaimed righteous protectors of women's bodies are falling in line right behind her.

Abstinence and fewer abortions. That this may also result in fewer leftists is just a side benefit.

It's almost as if God has made the pro-abortionists so confused that they will do what He wants anyway while believing they are striking a blow for "women's rights."

God has a history of befuddling His servants' enemies. And in this case, God's servants = unborn babies.

Are these things stepping stones on the road towards our national repentance for the shedding of innocent blood?

I think they are.

Donald Trump May Have Saved His Country

When the new abortion laws in New York state were signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) and the words of Governor Ralph Northam (D-VA) became a news sensation, it was the first time in a long time that I felt true fear for this country.

So, I did what I’ve learned to do in such cases. I again apologized to God for my own sin of abortion and for other sins. As a result, I was reminded that my sins were already forgiven and that I needed to take my eyes off myself. After all, my personal repentance had no effect on the fact that other children were being murdered in that very moment.

Here's the thing. What puts us in danger of the wrath of God isn't that abortions happen. It's that we have incorporated abortion into the body of the nation. Abortion became law and, therefore became us. And when New York and Virginia happened, it was as though they (we*) were saying "screw you, God! We'll kill these babies coming out of the chute!"

We all know how it tends to go when God responds with "Okay, then."

And, that train of thought conjured the story of the prophet Jonah and his soggy trip to the city of Nineveh.

Most people remember only one thing about Jonah: that he had the unique experience of being swallowed by a whale or some other large sea creature and of living to tell the tale. But many forget why Jonah ended up in the belly of the beast.

1 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

-- Jonah 1:1-2

God had told Jonah to go to Nineveh to inform the city that it was about to be judged for its sins. Instead, Jonah went in the opposite direction. God, however, can be very persuasive.

So, after the fish barfed Jonah up onto the beach, he went to Nineveh and walked the streets telling the inhabitants what God planned for them.

4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

Nineveh’s leader leads his subjects in repentance – a 180-degree turn in direction -- and, it occurred to me that, unless this nation’s leader did a similar thing, we were in perilous danger of being overthrown, in whatever form that would take.

So, I began to pray that the president of the United States would call on the nation to repent.

And then it happened.

Stark language, as we have come to expect from this president.

Some are saying that the president’s statement didn’t go far enough, but they missed something which I did not. The phrase ‘feeling pain’ is a tiny little grenade rolled into the ideological tent of the pro-abortionists; a seed planted. Children can feel pain long before they exit the womb and I’m looking forward to the emergence of earthly proof that children feel pain from conception.

Therefore, I contend that there may be a stay of execution of judgment on us. Maybe we haven't quite turned around, much less begun to walk in the opposite direction, but those words are indeed a halt of progress toward the point of no return.

So, I thank you very much, President Trump, for halting our march toward damnation.

*When the prophet Daniel addressed God about the sins of his nation, he said that "we have sinned," even though he, the individual, had not sinned.

Why I Was Hesitant to Blog About Obama When He Was President

As conservative activist Candace Owens is finding out right now, it’s a dangerous thing to provide personal information – even to a friend. Though I have been blogging for some time under the nom de guerre 'baldilocks,' I’ve never concealed my real name. But, even when I have revealed personal stuff, I took some comfort in the fact that each member of the American side of my family has a different last name than I do. Even considering that, I did ask Mom’s permission before posting this story.

It’s a matter I consider over and over again whenever I talk about personal matters – much more so than when I first started blogging. There’s a specific reason for this.

Yesterday, President Trump say that he would pardon conservative writer and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza. That made me happy and it made me think about the fact that I’m slightly acquainted with Dinesh because I was slated to appear in his documentary 2016: Obama’s America.


Why? Because I am a mirror image of a president.

I started this blog 2003. Then, in 2004, an Illinois state senator named Barack H. Obama gave the Democrat National Convention keynote address. I had never heard of him before that, so I did a little reading and discovered something amazing: his father was Kenyan – of the Luo tribe -- and his mother was American.

What was so amazing about that?

That is my exact same ethnic make-up and, before he came along, I had never met anyone else who had that same parentage. But that “coincidence” barely scratched the surface of those to follow.

• I was born in August of 1961.
• My biological father is Kenyan and of the Luo tribe; my mother is American.
• My parents met when both were attending the same American college.
• My parents divorced when I was very young; afterward, my father returned to Kenya.
• For half of my childhood, I was raised by older relatives of my mother.
• My mother suffered from ovarian cancer.
• My maternal grandmother died in 2008.
• One of my "half" sisters is nine years younger than I am. She is married to a man of a different race than she.
• I am left-handed.

Barack Obama and I have all these things in common.

And then there are all the disparities.

• I am a woman.
• I am a conservative.
• I was raised by my great-aunt and great-uncle in the first half of my childhood. President Obama was raised by his grandparents in the last half of his minor years.
• Barack Obama’s mother, and, therefore, his grandmother, were white. My maternal grandmother was “one-drop-rule” black. (In reality, Grandma had a white appearance, but both of her parents had some black ancestry.)
• My mother survived ovarian cancer; Former President Obama’s mother did not.
• My mother, biological father, and “step” father are all living; his have all passed away.

One might call some of these symmetric disparities.

And then there was the discovery that my biological father -- Philip Ochieng-- and Barack Obama Sr. had been friends. This was something that was all over the news in 2008 and, therefore, Dinesh flew to Kenya to interview my father for a segment in Obama’s America. And it’s the reason that Dinesh reached out to me and asked me to appear as well.

My part was filmed but ended up on the cutting room floor. Dinesh said that test audiences were confused about who I was.

Honestly? I was relieved.

Why? Because I knew that Barack Obama was perfectly capable of taking down anyone he or his handlers deemed threatening. I wasn’t worried about myself, but I do have a large family on two continents that I love.

The persecution and prosecution of Dinesh D’Souza confirmed my conclusion and there are several other examples of the former president’s vindictiveness, including his weaponization of the IRS against conservative not-for-profit groups

Many who knew about the Obama parallel suggested that I write a book about it, but I resisted that notion and I’m glad I did. I find the whole thing a tad boring now – it was hard enough to get motivated to compose this post. I’m over myself … mostly.

But Dinesh's impending pardon and the slow reveal that the Obama Administration probably okayed the spying operation on the Trump candidacy reminded me of my fear.

Besides, when he got elected, I figured that my job was done and that I had failed. But I also had this in mind:
 
“You’ll see.” (I'm old enough to remember being called racist -- against white people -- for surmising that, if Barack Obama became president, America wouldn't elect another black president for 100 years. Ah, the good old days!)

And we did see. We all saw what Barack Obama tried to do to this country and we are still seeing it.

Am I afraid now? No, but the new administration has little to do with my lack of fear.

I am much further along in my relationship with Christ and I have experienced things which I would have never thought I could handle without losing my mind, including the loss of nearly all material possessions and homelessness. I found out that the promises outlined in Psalm 91 are valid.

When one hangs his/her being out into the public anything can happen to your body, your personal belongings and your reputation. But if you ask for God's protection, your soul is unreachable and you have nothing to fear.

If there's anything for which I am grateful to Barack Obama, it's that.

The Tactic of Floating Outrageous BS (UPDATE: Old Baldilocks Links From Ten Years Ago)

As a recovering dissembler – the lies I told were mostly to myself – I have a unique perspective on lies and liars, at least from afar. (In personal relationships, however, I have been taken in once or twice.)

A couple of days ago, former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder had this to say about his former bailiwick, the Department of Justice, and how it should operate in relation to the President of the United States.

Those who won't read even something as short as the U.S. Constitution are indeed everywhere and they have been created on purpose via our often and justly maligned educational systems. Heck, people don't know the names of the three branches of government, much less the executive branch's hierarchy.

But, remember my first and second assertions. I'll try to explain how it works.

Many public figures in politics and the media use the tactic that Mr. Holder demonstrated: run an outrageous lie up the flagpole and see how many salute. There will always be a great number who, without question, will believe what he and his ideological brethren say. And now that Former President Obama's first attorney general has said that a president of the United States has no authority over the DOJ, he has planted seeds in the minds of like-minded citizens who will never bother to check to see if what he says is true.

And why should they? He was the head of the DOJ and, therefore, knows what he's talking about. Right?

Remember the "animals" uproar? It was just a few days ago. That was another perfect example of this tactic and, in that case, a huge chunk of the mainstream media and the Twitter Blue Check Mark Mafia pretended that President Trump referred to illegal immigrants as animals, when he was actually referring to the demonic gang MS-13.

And here's the intended aftereffect of the tactic: even after the truth comes out, there will still be a significant segment of the public who believes the falsehood. And there will be nothing you can do to show them that they are wrong.

That's the beauty of floating outrageous BS. Call it weaponization of disinformation.

I noticed this pattern long ago and now, with instant communication, it happens so much, I don't usually bother to comment on it. But I did find out that a lot of honest people are shocked that people do this. Honest people expect other people to be honest.

So it is that Eric Holder would pretend that the DOJ is an independent agency. And so what if people like me or Mr. Wictor stare open-mouthed at his ridiculous assertion? His job is done; the weapon is deployed.

Take it from a former sneak, you will see this happen over and over again, if you're paying attention.

During the 2016 presidential campaign and since Donald Trump’s inauguration, many observers have postulated that the president has the “Nebuchadnezzar anointing” or the “Cyrus anointing.” I have given and continue to give both theories the side-eye. A more valid theory is that President Trump might have some sort of “Naaman anointing.” Naaman was a rough, rude, immoral and leprous gentile who gets healed through the prophet Elisha and ends up worshiping the true God.

However, do we really want to continue to paste Old Testament narratives onto American heads of state? That might not work out so well for us, since godly OT monarchs were in the minority.

But here’s an interesting thing that says a lot about the spiritual forces coming against President Trump:

The school is question is MAAC Charter School in Chula Vista. They have already covered the mural up. Unmistakably, this depiction was one of a demon murdering Donald Trump.

Speaking of Old Testament, I also recall this:

There was much fanfare when witches across the world - and singer Lana Del Rey - pledged to stand together and cast a spell on President Donald Trump on Friday night. (…) 

There was only a handful of people gathered outside the president's Manhattan Midtown penthouse as witches worldwide prepared to cast a magic spell at midnight. 

Men and women had pledged to cast spells under the crescent moon in a bid to stop Trump from doing harm while also possibly banishing him from office. 

The first one was scheduled for Friday night and is set to be followed by similar spells cast on March 26, April 24 and May 23.

While the New York turnout may not have lived up to the hype, social media was flooded with photos of witches posting photos of their set up, with many using the hashtags #bindtrump and #feb24. 

Lana del Rey had earlier tweeted a photo of herself with the caption: 'At the stroke of midnight Feb 24, March 26, April 24, May 23... Ingredients can b found online.'

Her tweet appeared to be referencing the spell being shared by the witchcraft community online as they prepared to hex Trump.

Demons and witches against Trump? Not exactly a winning slogan, but I may underestimate the number of constituents.

A lot of people – even some Christians -- discount the existence of satanic spiritual forces and ridicule the material-world advocates of these forces. The latter count on this. For the record, I’ve seen some of those forces in action.

I remain a Trump-skeptic, though I heartily approve of many of his actions as president. The reason for my stance is this: any worship of a human being and any hatred of a human being are forms of idolatry.

Either extreme demonstrates the failure to trust in God; this is something I learned from being overly fearful of Barack Obama’s presidency.

I can’t discount, however, that the Devil’s advocates are so fearful of Donald Trump that they continue to intercede to their father regarding the man. My enemies’ enemies aren’t necessarily my friends, but there is no way I’m going to agree with a bunch of Devil worshipers.

I will pray to the Living God for President Trump just I did for President Obama: that he comes to Christ and is wise in his leadership. This was and is the codicil: that any damage a president does to the country – whether accidentally or intentionally -- will be averted. I never pray for the harm or injury of anyone; that tends to bite the pray-er on the backside and, in the case of wishing that on any president of the United States, it would bite this country on its collective backside, regardless of the president’s ideology.

But the Enemy doesn’t care about this and his advocates are fooled into thinking that they are doing good. The Devil, however, always sows chaos, and will abandon his followers after his goals are reached. He does this every time.

I do recall, however, that many Christians prayed that President Obama be removed from office before his maximum eight years were completed, and I'm also betting that some are praying this about President Trump. Well, all is fair in love and spiritual warfare, but ...

Gazans and Central Americans Trying to Jericho the Two Satans?

The other day, I pointed to the similarities between the Israel-Gaza border clash and the approaching mass of Central Americans marching through Mexico headed toward its border with the USA.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott deployed the Texas National Guard to the border days ago*  and, now, President Trump says he’s ready to take more action. (I'm not even bothering to check to see what my own governor -- Jerry Brown -- is doing.)

Previously, Trump used the caravan as an example of why his border wall needs to be built and also as an excuse [sic] to attack Democrats for their part in watering down border-security measures included in the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill. He's also attacked the Mexican government for ignoring the situation, ominously threatening to remember their negligence as NAFTA negotiations continue.

Today, he took his threats one step further by not only threatening to kill NAFTA - Mexico's "cash cow" - but also to cut off foreign aid to "Honduras and the countries that allow this to happen" before closing with: "Congress must act now!"

In the Israel-Gaza situation:

Tens of thousands of Palestinians began a six-week-long protest last Friday in tent encampments set up along the fenced border of the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip. They are pressing for a right of return for refugees to the villages and towns where their families lived before 1948 in what is now Israel. 

Sixteen Palestinians died after being shot by Israeli troops on the first day of the protest, Palestinian medical officials said. The 17th Palestinian killed, 25-year-old Ahmed Omar Arafa, was standing about 50 metres (165 feet) from the fence when he was shot, his father, Omar Arafa, told Reuters. 

“He was standing next to me; he posed no danger to them but they killed him,” he said. An Israeli military spokeswoman had no initial information on the latest reported fatality.  

The deaths occurred in the course of one of the largest Palestinian demonstrations along the 65-km (40-mile) border in years. Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman defended Israel’s response. 

“I warn (Gaza protesters) against continuing the provocation. We have set clear game rules and we do not intend to change them. Every person who comes close to the fence is endangering their lives,” he said on a visit to the border. 

“This was a well-organised provocation by Hamas’s armed wing in an attempt to harm our sovereignty, to disrupt daily life and to disturb Israelis on their Seder (traditional Passover meal) night. We are doing what we must do.” (…) 

The [IDF] said its troops used live fire only against people trying to sabotage the fence or rolling burning tyres and throwing rocks. Palestinian organisers said they had called for a peaceful protest and Hamas denied that its fighters had fired on Israeli forces, using the crowds as cover, though it said five of the dead were members of its armed wing.

As an unashamed conspiracy theorist, I think that there is little chance of coincidence that two large groups are intentionally and simultaneously approaching the borders of the two most powerful and most hated countries in the world demanding to be let in. Some entity/entities made this happen and the only reasons that Gazan group is much larger than the Central American group is that the latter has much farther to travel than the former and the latter needed the permission of the Mexicans for their trek. And, yes, it is not outside the realm of possibility that Mexico created this situation with hidden help.

So, now Israel is being condemned for the deaths at its Gazan border and the same thing will happen to the USA when the group meets the US military at the US-Mexico border.

All of this was planned by the same people, I say. Because it isn’t as if we who are paying attention don’t know that hidden-actors have been doing every thing they can for decades – centuries – to bring about a borderless world. These two situations are mere drops to wear down the rock of nation-state sovereignty. But there have been others drops.

And there will be more.

*When discussing state National Guards, it is necessary to remember that the commander-in-chief of each state’s NG is that states’ governor unless a NG entity has been called to Active Duty, where the c-in-c becomes the president of the USA. Any president is required to submit formally request to a governor to call up a NG entity to Active Duty. No governor has declined such a request.
