(Re-)Introduction

I’m guessing that I have a few new readers.

I am a 54-year-old natural-born American woman. My mother is a black American descendant of slaves, slave-owners, feather Indians and at least one German immigrant. My biological father is a famous journalist who is of the Luo tribe of Kenya. I was born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles; I live in LA right now.

Long-divorced, no children. I wanted some, but I’m old-school: I don’t believe in having children outside of marriage—and I learned that the hard way.

I’m a retired USAF/USAFR NCO who didn’t climb high in rank. Long story not related to any disobedience. I was active duty for almost 14 years, during which I had three career fields: Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist, Germanic Cryptologic Linguist, and Slavic (Russian) Cryptologic Linguist. As a reservist, I was an Aeromedical Technician (EMT).

I have blogged for many years as baldilocks; I switched to the blogspot format because it’s free.

I’ve been rolling in the dough and broke. I’ve lived beautiful homes and been homeless.

I’ve been talked about and I’ve been scorned.

I'm a conservative.

I’m a published novelist.

I’m a follower of Jesus the Christ.
